After earning a BA in financial management from the University of St. Thomas and a UMBC Certificate in finance, senior housing, and care from the Erickson School, Ryan Novaczyk became the president and CFO of New Perspective Senior Living, a company that provides purposeful living situations for seniors. Ryan Novaczyk has also achieved success as a speaker, giving presentations at conferences for organizations such as Argentum, the largest senior living association in the United States. Argentum has encouraged its members to supply quality residence and care services since its founding in 1990. As part of this mission, Argentum offers several professional events every year, including its Senior Living Executive Conference & Expo. The 2019 conference will take place April 15-17 in San Antonio, Texas, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. The conference will include talks from industry experts, and the expo will showcase products and services from leading senior-care providers. Since 2008, Ryan Novaczyk has guided New Perspective Senior Living, a company that operates over 20 senior living communities across Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. Also active in the field, Ryan Novaczyk holds membership in industry groups such as the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association (WALA). A pioneering professional organization in the assisted living and senior living industry, WALA has been serving its membership since 1994. Over the years, the organization has grown and evolved into a leading force in Wisconsin’s assisted living sector, providing its members with unparalleled resources while serving as the state partner to Argentum, a leading national senior living organization. To better serve its members, WALA provides a range of services, educational opportunities, and benefits. Among other benefits, WALA offers members access to low-cost liability insurance. Liability insurance is more important than ever for assisted-living facility operators, as managed care organizations are increasingly requiring providers to carry it. However, this insurance can be prohibitively expensive for small facilities. WALA has partnered with M3 Insurance to offer small operators the opportunity to buy this insurance at an affordable rate. To qualify, companies must be members of WALA and operate a facility with 10 beds or less. To learn more about this program, please visit ewala.org. |
